Working With Culture
Wednesday 22th July, 16.30-18.00 EET on Zoom
Culture shapes how people communicate, make decisions, give feedback, and build trust, often without them realizing it. In this webinar, we explore culture as something practical, lived, and observable in our teamwork. You’ll be introduced to cultural intelligence (CQ) and Erin Meyer’s Culture Map as a reflection and dialog tool that makes invisible patterns visible. The approach can be used with or without addressing nationality directly. Teams may explore their cultural preferences in a “culture‑agnostic” way, or bring national backgrounds into the discussion when they are clearly shaping interaction.
While team settings are a central reference point, the insights are equally relevant for leadership, coaching conversations, and cross‑cultural work more broadly.
You will leave with concrete questions and perspectives you can use to:
- Reflect on cultural assumptions that quietly shape team behavior and expectations
- Create better conversations around misalignment and friction
- Work more intentionally with difference, rather than around it
- Support teams or individuals in developing shared ways of working
This session is both informative and reflective, with space for participants to connect the concepts to their own contexts.
This webinar is relevant for: Team coaches, Executive and Leadership Coaches, Mentors, and anyone working with people across cultural, organizational, or professional boundaries.
The session is in English and EMCC Finland invites all EMCC Nordic neighbors to join us! Welcome! Tervetuloa! Välkommen! Velkommen!
