Six Working Genius as a tool in coaching and mentoring
Tuesday 15th September 2026, 09:00–10:30 EET on Zoom
What gives us energy at work, and what drains it? How can coaches and mentors help clients better understand their natural patterns of contribution, collaboration and motivation?
In this 90-minute webinar, we will explore the Six Working Genius framework developed by Patrick Lencioni and The Table Group. The model helps individuals identify the kinds of work that naturally energise them and those that create frustration. We will discuss how the framework can be applied in coaching and mentoring to support self-awareness and practical action.
This webinar will invite you to reflect on:
- How different types of work generate energy or frustration
- How the Six Working Genius framework can support coaching and mentoring conversations
- How to use the model to create insight, dialogue and practical action
- How teams can benefit from a shared language for contribution and collaboration
- How the framework connects with EMCC core competencies such as enabling insight, learning and action orientation
The session will combine theory, practical examples and breakout room discussions, giving participants opportunities to reflect on their own working preferences and consider applications with clients.
Questions are welcome throughout the webinar, and participants will have opportunities to exchange ideas and learn from each other’s experiences.
The session is in English and EMCC Finland warmly welcomes participants from across the Nordic EMCC community and beyond. Welcome!
